The REAL Roadmap (No Lies)
September 2025. Here's what we WANT to build, not what we already have.
Q4 2025 (Now)
- 🚧 Infrastructure Designer MVP (30% complete)
- ❌ AWS only (GCP and Azure are a dream)
- ❌ 0 users (we don't even use it in production ourselves)
- 🎯 Goal: Have 1 module working decently
Q1 2025 (If we survive)
- Finish basic Infrastructure Designer
- Add real authentication
- Create 5-10 basic templates
- Goal: 10 beta users trying it
Q2 2025 (Being optimistic)
- GCP support (maybe)
- Basic Terraform export
- Very basic API
- Goal: 50 curious users
Q3 2025
- Try to add Azure
- Start the second module (basic CI/CD)
- Improved template system
- Goal: 100 users, 1-2 paying
2026+ (The Dream)
- The other 15 modules we promise
- AI Assistant (if something accessible exists by then)
- Marketplace (if we have users who contribute)
- Multi-region, FinOps, Chaos Engineering, etc.
The Honest Vision: 2026
If everything goes PERFECT:
- A decent tool with 3-4 working modules
- 500-1000 users (being very optimistic)
- Maybe $10k MRR (hopefully)
- Open source when the code isn't embarrassing
The Probable Reality
- 1-2 half-working modules
- 100-200 users
- Continue being a side project
- Learn a lot along the way
Conclusion
This roadmap is aspirational. The reality is that building 17 modules will take YEARS, not months. But you have to start somewhere.
We'll be transparent about real progress vs aspirations.
